Welcome to the Advanced Quantum-Nano Materials & Optoelectronics Laboratory (AQNMOL)!

AQNMOL is dedicated to exploring the potentials for the advanced optoelectronic devices and technologies that consume less energy and produce high efficiency, i.e. photovoltaic devices & light emitting diode (LEDs). Also, the lab is dedicated to the characterization of quantum- and nano-structures by using atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Transmission electron microscopy (TEM), photoluminescence (PL), etc.The advancement and development of less-energy & high-efficiency applications heavily reply on the advancement of these novel quantum- and nano-structures& materials. AQNMOL's current research focus on the fabrications of III-V (arsenide & nitride) semiconductor quantum- and nano-structures & their applications using molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) & pulsed laser deposition (PLD).
